Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, development and support of Network Management System product suite developed to manage our client's network elements. The product suite includes Network Management System, Network Design and Planning tool and Network Element simulation software.

This position requires significant hands-on knowledge and experience in the design, development and debugging of object oriented software. The candidate must possess strong hands-on system software design and development skills using Java. Additionally, this incumbent must work well in a team environment and possess strong commitment with the ability to deliver high quality software. The candidate must be able to analyze requirements, generate design documents and, produce code to be integrated with the NMS products.
The candidate for this position should have strong technical, analytical, programming and testing skills and be capable of handling multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
Minimum educational qualifications required for this position is a B.E.E. or B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.

Requirements:
Software development using Java. Software programming and development in UNIX/Solaris and Windows (desirable) environments. Desirable (basic knowledge is expected in many of the following):
- Development of network management systems for the telecom industry
- Development of EMS/NMS for Wireless Base stations (LTE, Wi-Max, 3GPP)
- Distributed object oriented architecture using CORBA
- Experience in telecom with SONET, SDH and DWDM technologies
- Experience with LTE base stations (eNodeB) and it's interfaces
- Experience with various data communication protocols such as SNMP/TCP/IP, OSI and TL-1
- Database access and development skills using Oracle and mySQL
- Use of configuration management tools (e.g. ClearCase) and problem reporting and tracking tools (e.g. DDTS)
- Experience in XML, Web-Services and J2EE

Candidates MUST HAVE wireless experience for this position: Wireless Base Stations LTE, Wi-Max, 3GPP. Additional required skills are: Java development, EMS or NMS, CORBA, SONET, or SDH, or DWDM.
