Telecom to Survive the Storm

Saying he wouldn't want to be selling cars, or in the restaurant or banking business right now, Dan Hesse (Sprint CEO) says "we're fortunate to be in the telecom business today" (bizjournal.com).

Make no mistake, Hesse's public-face has been "positive" for quite some time as he's struggled to pull Sprint back from the brink of disaster. However, I'm with him on this one, and believe the telecom and info technology industry will pull through the economic crisis in much better shape than others.
