Senior Electrical Engineer -Local Connectivity Solutions:

Lead from a hands-on perspective the detailed testing, analysis and recommendations of coexistence algorithms for Bluetooth Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH), Bluetooth eSCO operation and multiradio coexistence (WLAN + WiMAX + Bluetooth) algorithms. Identified relevant Local Connectivity interferer use cases. Research and develop tests and solutions needed to characterize and maximize performance. Define system level requirements for Bluetooth chipsets vendors and drive the modified chipsets into Motorola Bluetooth products and Motorola phones.

Drive upcoming Motorola Bluetooth products to lower power by introducing new features which lower current drain. Research and develop test procedures to validate effectiveness of the new features and provide recommendations.

Interfaced with chipset vendors to determine specifications for new products. Performed RF tests to ensure design meets specifications.

Supported various product groups and platforms to ensure Bluetooth standard’s compliance and interoperability.

Submitted two patent disclosures in the area of AFH and Low power mode in Bluetooth.
