Short Bio

Charles brings almost two decades of solid executive recruitment leadership to NextGen Recruiting Solutions as a Senior Partner. As the Practice Lead for Mobile Content as well as Wireless Network Systems, Charles is well known for his mobile wireless industry domain expertise.

Charles has successfully placied dozens of Key E and C level Executives and hundreds of top sales, business development, systems, and software engineers for startups and high-growth vendors who build mobile content platforms and applications, mobile social networking, mobile advertising and search, and wireless infrastructure networks - in North America and Europe.

Charles frequently travels between his home office in eastern Tennessee to London in heading up the international areas. Previously Charles led Abba Wireless Executive Search Group for 5 years and prior was the Principal for Active Wireless Executive Search Group, which won over two dozen national awards for recruitment excellence. His experience includes founder and CMO for eWorld Employment, as well as founder and Chief Evangelist for ACNi, a web-based disruptive bilateral matching recruitment technology services firm.

Charles believes search transparency, solid behavioral assessments in the interviewing process, and personal engagement with the key executives in the recruiting and selection process is the key to bringing on board “high impact A players”. Charles has been interviewed and featured in several publications, including Wall St. Journal, XTreme Recruiting, RCR Wireless, IT World, Computer World, Wireless Review, and M-Business Daily.

Charles has a BS in Marketing from FTU and lives in eastern Tennessee where he is involved in Junior Achievement (having won SME of the year himself in 1976) and enjoys dog sledding and the mountains.
