POSITION SUMMARY
Software developer will design, develop, and test essential, high-quality components of our electronic mail products. Our products include both server-based and client-side software that is distributed to the mass market. This is a C/C++/Windows environment and the successful candidate will have extensive experience in the same environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
• Source code review
• Design, development, debugging, testing, and support of Windows based communication applications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• C++, including the standard template library (STL) and class/function
• C++templates
• Experience with applications or services that employ IP-based protocols
• C++ programming with relational databases and SQL
• Self management/discipline skills required
• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years working experience
• Multi-threaded development
• Windows-based RPC
• COM applications
• Mail protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP)
****MAPI (protocol for Exchange and Outlook extensions)
****Experience developing Outlook or Exchange extensions
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
• Experience building parsers or compilers, including language specifications such as BNF, with tools such as Boost, bison, and/or yacc
