Job Description
Proactively identify, engage in, and drive sales based on targeted customer lists and up-sell opportunities. Target opportunities include MWAN, MLAN, IP-VPN, Satellite and MIDA. Lead Sales activities in response to RFI, RFP and unsolicited offers as they relate to the coordination of Managed Services staff and process and provide direct input to responses. Develop sales plans and strategies for the further penetration of current accounts.
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technology based solutions. Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal cross-functional organizations & customers.
7+ years in the telecommunications, information technology, and/or systems integration industries
Previous sales engineering or technical sales consultant experience is required
Technical proficiency in multiple Internet & Networking technologies including:
Managed Services
Customer Premises Equipment
IP -VPN -IP
Communications
Access
Frame Relay
ATM
Security
Internetworking
Excellent customer communications, interaction & presentation skills
Candidate must be a team player, who is self-motivated, organized & pays strict attention to detail
BS degree in technical related field, Computer Science or Engineering preferred
Related Certifications: CCIE, CCDA, CCNP, CISSP, or similar preferred
